Welcome to RFK Transportation Logistics, LLC. RFK is a contract carrier located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Started in 1973 by Robert F. Kazimour, RFK specialized in hauling appliances to the West Coast and bringing produce to the Midwest. As deregulation began in the early 80s, RFK evolved from being a refrigerated carrier to providing dry van service.
After 34 years of unrivaled service, RFK partnered with West Side Transport in Cedar Rapids. RFK's unrivaled Logistics in conjunction with West Side's well-established fleet has given both companies a clear road map for continued responsible growth.
As RFK celebrates its 35th Anniversary in 2008, the addition of owner operators and the expansion of RFK's Logistics services are clearly defined. Focusing on long haul, no-touch and higher rated freight, we are confident that RFK offers owner operators and company drivers the best economic opportunities in our industry.
